This is a smart and well-maintained, 4th floor penthouse apartment to rent on one of the most prestigious resorts in Golf del Sur with lovely views of the ocean, lush tropical gardens, golf course and mountains including the peak of El Teide. You will find it bright, airy and spacious. The high ceilings help it to be cool in summer.
The apartment for rent has been built and finished to a very high standard and comprises lobby, bedroom, bathroom, American-style kitchen, lounge and balcony. There is a lift from the Ground Floor and the apartment will sleep up to 4 people in comfort.
LOUNGE
The lounge and kitchen areas are open-plan. Furniture includes two sofas, chair, coffee table, sideboard, table and chairs. One of the sofas pulls out to a comfortable double bed. To complement the tasteful Canarian decor, there are several pictures on the walls and table lamps for cosy evening relaxation.
KITCHEN
The lounge and kitchen are separated by a breakfast bar with four stools. The kitchen itself is fully-equipped for self-catering with enough cutlery, crockery, pots and glassware provided for four people. Appliances include full-size electric oven and hob, refrigerator with ice-box, kettle, microwave oven, toaster, fan, iron and ironing board.
TV AREA and BALCONY
A tv and DVD player are provided for your enjoyment. The patio doors you can see in the left-hand photo lead out onto the spacious balcony where there are four comfortable chairs, table and parasol where you can enjoy a drink at any time of the day or sunbathe in privacy.
BEDROOM
The bedroom has twin beds with matching linen, a wardrobe with mirrored doors. A bedside table, lamp, alarm clock and fan are also provided.
BATHROOM
The bathroom has a shower over the full-size bath, toilet, bidet, washbasin and vanity unit. There are enough towels and linen for four people and these are normally changed before arrival and after departure though a weekly towel and linen change is available for a small additional charge. More frequent housekeeping services are available at extra cost.
SUITABILITY
The apartment is suitable for couples, families and golfers but pets are not permitted,
sorry. It is not suitable for families with babies and small children on account of the high balcony.
THE ISLAND OF TENERIFE
Tenerife is the largest island in the Canaries, lying just off the north-west coast of Africa. This volcanic island is dominated by Mount Teide which towers some 3,718 metres into the Canarian sky and is the tallest mountain in Spain.
The island enjoys year-round sunshine and the temperatures rarely fall below 18ºC in winter. The temperature range is also very small considering it's location, varying between 18ºC and around 24ºC throughout the year. This makes it a great place to book for a holiday at any time, whether it be for relaxation, golf or a family vacation.
The people are very friendly, English is widely spoken in the main resort areas and there's so much to see and do on Tenerife that you'll probably want to come back time after time.
Although an associate member of the EU and belonging to Spain, the islands are self-governing to some degree and enjoy much lower taxes than mainland Spain. This makes shopping and dining out so much less expensive.
If you're thinking of visiting Tenerife for the first time, you won't be disappointed and if you're returning, you already know why they call this the 'Island of Eternal Spring'.

There is very little sand at all on Tenerife: it is a volcanic island
and is mostly volcanic ash or cinders along the coastal path with outcrops of rocks or pebbles going down to the sea (for instance Pebble Beach . . . ). Having said that many people sunbathe on the rocks and children often play on the pebbles though sandy it is not -- sand has to be imported from the Sarah desert to make beaches on Tenerife!! Los Gigantes is one of those places . . .
