Octopus Aquapark (near Playa de las Americas)
The Octopus water theme park, situated near Playa Las Americas, is open all year round, 10am to 6pm daily. Casa Iriarte (Los Realejos)

| Masca Road leads from Santiago del Teide, 6 km zigzag drive. Village until recently not accessible by road. Wonderful views and an insight into how Canarian's lived for many years. Popular with hikers who wish to make the 2 hour walk through the gully to the sea at the base of majestic cliffs of Los Gigantes. |
 Barranco del Infierno. Walkers ravine in Municipal of Adeje. The gorge boasts one of the few permanent streams in the south of island. You do not have to be a keen hiker to transverse this gully. Walk takes approx. 70 mins, each way. Bar/Restaurant at entrance to Barranco. Wear tough shoes. |

While visiting Tenerife about two years ago I found a 'club' where badminton is played. I had already tried more than one place before but was very disappointed. This club, 'Tenerife South' located in Las Galletas, plays on a 'world standard' (Badminton Association of England) court. 'Determined' Mick spent months trying to set up a club in south Tenerife but came up against brick walls in respect of halls. He eventually found one in El Fraile. There were drawbacks in that play was only possible on two nights for a hour and a half (because of indoor football). After a meeting with the Sports Minister he was given the use of the hall in Las Galletas. So - Badminton is now available at Las Galletas.
Members of the club, 'Tenerife South', meet on Mondays and Thursdays between 1900 and 2200 hours. Play is on BAofE standard courts. Racquets are available.
