Frigiliana was named prettiest village in Andalusia in 1997. Built in the Moorish style, with narrow cobbled streets which are a delight to explore, its altitude of 1,000ft affords views of the Mediterranean.
APARTMENT FOR RENT
The apartment is situated in Balcon de Frigiliana, just as you are coming into Frigliana, making it very easy to get to. The apartment is beautifully decorated and fully furnished throughout.It has a comfortable lounge with a small dining area. There is satellite TV with BBC channels and also a DVD player and a CD player plus CDs and DVD for you to watch while you are staying at the apartment.
It has a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, toaster, iron, ironing board, washing machine, fridge freezer etc. All linen and towels are supplied (except beach towels).
The pool is located only yards away from the apartment. As you come out the front door you will see a small slope which is excellent for either children in push chairs or anyone who needs the use of a wheelchair.
RENTAL ACCOMMODATION (2 bedrooms, sleeps 5)
The apartment has two bedrooms; one double and also a twin bedroom. There is also a single fold away bed, plus a travel cot and high chair for babies. The bathroom is fully fitted and there is a shower which is located in the bath.
FRIGILIANA TOURIST INFORMATION
Brightly painted houses with colourful doors adorn the narrow passages. At the top you will find an interesting, if not plain, church. Opposite is a pleasant square to rest and enjoy a traditional meal. There are some really lovely restaurants hiding away which you will come across as you wander through the village. My favourite restaurant, and I think quite popular with most tourists, is Las Chinas as the food is really lovely and not too expensive.
You will find ample tiny shops in which to buy the local handicrafts which include fine basketware, linen and lace as well as beautiful ceramic wares but you will not find supermarkets and large stores. I have bought most of the furniture for the apartment in Frigiliana, as I think it is good value for what you pay.

How to get here
Malaga airport is about 50 minutes drive from Frigiliana. Granada airport is slightly further away at roughly about one and a half hours, but it is a nice drive.Price
